Rounds 4 and 5 saw us travel the huge journey to Pembrey in South Wales. And for once the sun was shining and conditions perfect - well maybe a bit too hot!

I went into qualifying feeling good and I knew I had to do well this weekend to keep the championship alive. Everything went ok - I got some space and was able to get my head down and put the bike on Pole by a good margin.

The first race went according to plan - I led the pack into the first corner and led the race until the end. I won by a good margin although on the last few laps the bike was sliding as my tyre had gone off in the heat. A trip to Mark at Holbeach tyres was in order and we put a harder tyre on that would last the distance in the heat. It worked and once again in race 2 I led from start to finish with no sliding at all. Two wins out of two but in the second race some of the other guys were getting a bit closer on times so I knew Sunday would be a bit harder.

Qualifying on sunday and the track felt even faster - again I poled it but the other riders were definatly closer this time! In the race s however I still managed to hold Saturdays form and won both races again by a good margin. In the second race Ivan was able to hold on for a few laps and pushed me hard - but I was able to break away and won by a good gap - setting what we think is a new Hornet lap record on the way of 1.03.6

Basically it was an amazing weekend - if only they all could be that good! I now lead the championship by 4 points and its all to play for going into the next round.
