Brands saw more unsettled weather - overcast but dry for qualifying. All went well and I was sure I would be somewhere around the front row - I was very happy when I was on pole and felt I could take the wins I needed to keep my championship alive.

The first race started well with Stu Martin taking the lead on the first corner, I managed to out brake him into the first druids and got my head down to try and make the break - Stu kept with me and took the lead on the 4th or 5th lap, when we arrived at the back markers I was pushed very wide by a startled CB5 rider and Jack was able to get through the big gap, he later said he would never have caught if it wasn't for that! anywayz - I crossed the line in 3rd but Stu was taken for a jump start and with a 5 second penalty was moved to 3rd place leaving me in 2nd - unfortunalty Jack opeed the gap even more between me and 2nd place in the championship.

The second race was very similar - it was a tight decision on tyres but we got it right at the last minute with dry tyres, this time Matt Briggs was back on form and took the win from Stu then myself - it was a good race with some tight overtaking manouvers and fast laps being put in under damp conditions - the same back marker ruined my race again pushing me onto the rumble strips and letting the other break away - I finished the race 3rd.

I left with pole position, the aggregate win for the weekend, fastest lap and man of the meeting! so all in all not a bad meeting - its all on the line for Cadwell now and its gonna be a hell of a race!
