Once again Mallory was a wash out, rain rain rain. Friday night a few of us had a good larf in the club house not really expecting much from the next days racing. Waking up to hear the wind and rain didn't boost morale as I had no wets again and new I would not be able to ride to my best - however - Craig Fitzpatrick was kind enough (or stupid enough) to get me a set of wets, cheers mate, typically it dried out a bit before qualifying as I have no spare wheels the wets stayed on - I still managed to qualify pole and had high hopes for the race. Best wishes to Sandy who crashed out heavy and still blames me!! I never forced the Vodka on ya Sandy!!!!.

The 1st race was a gamble weather or not to run wets - we chose not to - which at the start of the race seemed a good idea - however the race was red flagged when Rick Coles lost the front at the hair pin and managed to include me and another rider. I managed to get back on the track and line up for the restart - when it started raining again - poxxy weather - Me and Gavin Littlewood were already on the grid and waited for the others to rejoin - Gav rode really well in the condition and beat me to line giving me 2nd place.

The 2nd race was just a wash out, definate wets!!! Gav got a good start beating round the first corner, I couldn't do anything to catch him - hard as i did try - I tried front crawl - back stroke and even the butterfly round Gerards once but he made made no mistakes and I ended with 2nd (again). This meant Gav had won 6 out of 6 races with a massive lead in the championship.
