Cadwell was blessed with fantastic weather, I was unable to test the day before because of lack of money so I watched some of the other guys getting quicker and quicker!! A massive 19 fat bikes were on the grid and come quialfying I didn't fancy my chances much have never ridden Cadwell on the bike before whilst others had. Laps at Cadwell are around the 1m 50sec mark if ya gettin a shift on and qualifying is only 10 mins - not leaving much time to learn to circuit and qualify. As it goes I didnt get one full fast lap in because of traffic ( and running in a new tyre because the old one had split in the orning iver night! que bridgestone) but somehow managed to get 2nd on the grid not to far off Gav.

The day was dogged with red flags and ours were no different - after some good battles and close racing I crossed the line in the lead on the lap the race was red flagged, giving me the win and fastest lap. The second race was very similar with laps time getting better and me crossing the line again in the lead on the lap the race was red flagged - another win and fastest lap. I was feeling much better about it all now and knew I had a lot in reserve for the next day.

After a visit to the Club house and good B-B-Q later I didnt really fancy feel as up for it as I had the night before!!! strange that!! Anywayz we went out and I rode well getting my fastest lap of the weekend but not enough to catch the flying Gav who mangaged to put a few bikes between us on the 1st lap leaving me too much to do to catch him - so I saved my dwindling energy and hoped he made a mistake - he didnt - I got 2nd place.

The last race was similar - but this time a disgruntled Hornet rider blocked me the whole race, Gav seemed to slip past him but on me passing him a few times and being out powered - as usual by the hornets, but he would not let me past on the brakes or during the corners- litrally swerving all over the track at points he knew I was quicker and slowing my lap times down a few seconds alowing Gav to clear into the distance. All this time little Jack was gaining in 3rd and I was getting worried when he came past me down the back staight - luckily this allowed the angry hornet to clear off giving me a clear track to get past and pull out on him to get another 2nd.
